Why That Weight Gain Doesn’t Matter

It seems I've posted my latest post on the wrong blog. Instead of completely moving the post across, I'm going to share the link with you. Today's post was about why a weight gain one week doesn't matter that much. There are three reasons to consider for why you've gained weight, and it's also important to look back over your journey to see how far you've come. I hope you enjoy this week's post , and I'm sorry for the confusion. This is what you get for having many blogs and not having the best of sleep one night.

4 Reasons to Give Into Your Cravings…Sometimes

Image
Do you ever have cravings? They could be for chocolate, cakes or even just a general craving. Sometimes, you just need to give into them. Anything in moderation is fine. The problem is that so many diets have made people think certain foods are bad. Yes, in general, a lot of sugar is bad for your overall health. But one piece of chocolate a day is not going to do you any harm. If it did, everyone would drop dead, right? This doesn’t mean give into every single craving you have. You can’t just eat a whole pack of biscuits because you really wanted them. Here are four reasons to give in to your cravings…sometimes. It Stops the Cravings Giving in will actually stop the cravings. That’s a good thing, right? When you crave something and tell yourself more, you just want it more and more. It will get to the point where you just binge on that one thing. And you will completely blow your diet. By giving in now and then, your body no longer craves certain food

Weight Loss: It Takes Time to Lose It

It takes time to lose the weight you gained. Image from Pixabay I was going to share some lunch ideas this week, but I think I’m going to save those for next week. You see, a topic came up the other day that really made me want to write this blog post. Someone said to me that the weight loss after pregnancy was too slow. I hear it or read it all the time. People aren’t happy because they’ve not managed to 50, 75 or even 100 pounds in the space of three or four months. It’s so important to remember that it takes time to lose it. Think about how long it took you to put it on! One Day Is Not Enough to Lose Weight Healthily Sure, there are all these diets that promise instant results. They say you can lose 30 pounds in a week or 90 pounds in six weeks. But how sustainable is that in reality? It’s not! You don’t teach yourself better habits. You lose the weight and then quickly gain it all back, if not more. Consider the time it took you to gain that weight.
