100 Day Challenge Day 9: Disappointed Weigh In but Moving Forward

It was weigh in this morning. Considering how good I’ve been this week, I was expecting to lose. Even if it was just ½ a pound, I would have been happy. That didn’t happen, though. I stayed the same. Yes, stayed the same ! I looked at the scales and just thought “are you kidding me? Really?” I’ve tracked everything and stayed within my pro points allowance. I’ve done exercise and tracked it (and not eaten those pro points). I’ve been good. Very good and that’s how my body repays me. It doesn’t lose anything. So, I took measurements of my waist and hips, just on the off chance that it was inches that I lost. Nope! Not there either. Nothing has changed from last week. I am gutted . In fact, I’m raging ! You see, I do know how you feel when you find you don’t lose anything; when you’ve been so good and the scales just don’t tell you what you want. Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 58 and 59

I am at goal!!! Yes, really. I reached my weight loss goal last week. It's an amazing achievement and I'm so happy. I did decide to change my goal for various reasons and got to 10st 8lbs. That's comfortably within my BMI, but the good news is that I can keep losing for a while. I think I will keep going, but only to give myself some leeway. Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 56 and 57

Over the last two weeks, I've lost two pound in total--a steady one pound each week. It's been a busy fortnight for me, which is why I missed out on posting last week's weight loss results (I did on Bubblews too). I know it shouldn't be an excuse but there are times that life just gets in the way. I've learnt a lot over the two weeks: mainly that I can have a busy life and still lose weight. I don't have to give into the cravings and do make healthy decisions, as long as they are in the house. It would have been really easy for me to give in and eat the sweets, chocolates and crisps in the house or order takeout every night but I decided to make good decisions. Weekly Weight Loss Week 54 and 55

I'm sorry I missed last week's again. Over the last two weeks I've lost half a pound (lost one and a half last week but gained a pound this week). I detail it all here and here . For this week, the plan of attack is to stick to my points. If you've read week 55, you'll notice that it was a change of medication. I'm hoping my hormones and body have settled down and gotten used to them now. I am back to my normal weigh in on Tuesday next week, which will really help. I hope you're having better success and are closer to your goal.

Weekly Weight Loss Catchup -- Weeks 49 to 51

I'm sorry! I've been really useless at getting my weekly weight losses up. I had to go to a different Weight Watchers class for the last two weeks, which has thrown me off a little but it is no excuse. Weekly Weight Loss Week 48

I lost another pound this week, taking me another pound closer to my weight loss goal. 9 pounds to go now and there's 13 weeks left to Christmas! I've already gone into my weekly points and trying really hard not to use them all up right at the start of the week but we gave into a Chinese on Wednesday night.   How is your weight loss going? Weekly Weight Loss Week 47

This week I lost 1 pound and I'm really happy with that. I'm now 10 pounds away from goal. I have to be honest that I was surprised after the week I had. lt was full of takeaways and long hours at work. What did I do? This week was a lot of tracking. While that's really important to know I'm in my limits there is always the fear I will but weight on. What will I do this week? It's all about tracking again. I've been a bit slack when it comes to exercise so I'm going to do more of that too. This week is going to be the bad one out of 4 so I need to limit the damage as much as possible. How is your weight loss going? Hopefully, you are having as much success as me.

Weekly Weight Loss Week 46

I didn't lose anything this week... But I didn't gain anything either and I'm happy with that! It was my wedding anniversary so there were a few not so normal food choices involved so staying the same is a good thing. I expect a loss next week though. Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 43, 44 and 45

I've been a little slack in posting my weekly weight losses it seems. In total over the last three weeks I've lost 1.5lbs. It doesn't seem like a lot but I missed week 43 because I was away and week 44 found I'd gained 2lb. I lost all that and more by week 45! Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 40 and 41

Sorry I'm not updating this every week. I did try to post the link for last week but Bubblews was down and then I never got around to it. Over the last two weeks, I've lost 1lb. I didn't lose anything in week 40. I'm annoyed that I've lost so little over the last two weeks but I did work out that I've almost lost, on average, a pound per week since starting. In 41 weeks I've lost 40.5lbs. That I can be happy with. Weekly Weight Loss Week 39

This week I jumped on the scales and lost 2lbs. That's the weight gain from last week off plus a little extra. I reckon I'll lose 2lb and be 1/2lb off as that is usually the case but we'll see. I've really upped my activity at the moment. I've managed an hour on the Wii Fit Wednesday and Thursday night. I'm still to finish work today but should get another hour done once my daughter is in bed! I'm really pushing for this goal... Oh, after my 3 stone, I'll be 3.5lbs off being at a healthy BMI!!! That will be a major accomplishment and I will hopefully see it within the next month.

Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 36 and 37

For those who are still following my weekly weight loss posts, I'm sorry I didn't post anything last week. I did on Bubblews though! Weekly Weight Loss Weeks 34 and 35

Despite being on holiday, I lost a pound over the last two weeks. Weekly Weight Loss Week 33

This week I lost a pound! I actually thought I'd only lost 1/2lb but realised that after jumping on the scales, my iPhone was in my pocket -- yes the iPhone weighs 1/2lb! I simply tracked everything I ate and did more activity this week. Weight Watchers really does work as long as you stick to it. I'm still tracking now and we have a delicious prawn salad this evening. The next week or two are going to be hard. I'm going away tomorrow (there won't be my usually Fitness Friday post) and won't be back until next Friday. Going away is always hard for my weight loss so we will see. How are you doing? Weekly Weight Loss Week 32

This week I... Gained half a pound. I'm disappointed but I'm not completely surprised. I've found it so hard lately to stick to my pro points allowance! I constantly feel hungry and I think that has something to do with the raspberry ketones. I think I would have been alright until we went to the in-laws for the weekend. While I did walk around lots (I earned 5 activity pro points in one day, which is more than normal), I ate too much food. We had a takeaway on the Friday night and then a BBQ on the Saturday and I didn't track properly until afterwards. Never mind. This week I'm back on track. I've already used up my weekly pro point allowance but that's fine. I'll just have to be good from now until Tuesday. It's possible! I'm earning a few activity pro points. The sun is shining and I'm getting out with Kathryn as much as possible. I would like to hit my next half pound milestone by the end of the month. I have 6lbs to go and ...

Weekly Weight Loss Week 31

This week I lost an amazing 3lbs. I hit my Silver Seven target and gotten a bit into the next one. My next aim is to get to 11st and then I'm at a healthy BMI! I didn't do much different this week. In fact, I almost went over my pro points allowance and had to claw it back on the last couple of days. I think this actually helped. I've always found that the more I eat, the better I do at the scales. I think this is because the body wants that food and it helps to keep the metabolism up. I've been taking raspberry ketones I will also admit that I've been taking raspberry ketones. They started off as a product review but I've had so much energy from them that I've decided to keep them up. They're supposed to speed up the metabolism so I'm wondering if they have helped. I'll keep taking them for the next week and will report back how I do. Sometimes the weight goes on the week after It's important for me to be good this week. Som...

Weekly Weight Loss Week 30

This week I lost 1/2lb. I did hope for more but I can understand why I ‘only’ lost the 1/2lb – I didn’t eat enough. My excuse? Actually, for once it is a genuine excuse: my wisdom tooth is growing into my cheek and for the last week has been really hurting and cutting further into the cheek. I should have it checked out but it only plays up every now and then. However, the pain meant that I ate very little. With Weight Watchers, everyone is meant to eat a minimum of 26 per day and I couldn’t even reach that most days. I’m very happy that I lost 1/2lb with all that in mind. What Will I Do This Week? My tooth has stopped hurting and the cut in my cheek is healing so I can get back to eating normally. Hopefully this week I’ll lose a pound to reach my Silver Seven target. I’m going to keep doing everything I have, including tracking and activity. Now that the sun is out more, I’m going to get out with Kathryn in the buggy more. I’m also going to look at a f...

Weekly Weight Loss Week 29

This week I lost 1lb! I reached my goal to get under the stone bracket! I am now into the 11stone area but still have some way to go. I also have 1.5lbs to go to get to my next Silver 7, which I should get over the next two weeks. What Did I Do This Week? Everything I did last week and the week before and the week before that and...I'm sure you're getting the picture. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? I didn't do as much activity as I wanted but I did eat well. In fact, we got to Sunday and realised that I could have a takeaway! What Will I Do This Week? I'm still tracking this week and going to work on my activity at the moment. So far, I've got 1 activity point after walking to my meeting and back last night. I was hoping to get a few more today by doing some Zumba but Kathryn hasn't gone for long enough naps to get everything done. I really want to get that 1.5lb this week so I'm definitely going to up the activity to try . ...

Weekly Weight Loss Week 28

This week I stayed the same. I'm disappointed but I can't work out what I did wrong. I tracked everything I ate, did lots more activity than normal and didn't go over my points. I'm wondering whether it was actually doing the extra activity that has thrown my body off. It may also be the fact that I've hit a plateau.  One thing that I am happy about though is that I stayed the same. At least I didn't gain weight! What I'll Do This Week I can only keep doing what I have been doing lately. It's been working and is just think week that's caused a problem. If it doesn't work next week, then I'll start looking at other options. I will still do more exercise to try and shift the work, especially since I have 2.5lbs to go to get to my next Silver Seven.
