4 Tips for Curbing Late Night Snacking

Image
Late night snacking is a pain when it comes to weight loss. We always reach for the bad stuff, thinking we need to eat more or just because we’re bored. When I looked at emotional eating the other day, I mentioned that boredom was my issue. To be honest, it was the boredom at night which always led to late night snacking. I needed to curb this if I wanted to lose weight and keep it off. I put a plan together and made sure I lost the weight. The best thing about the Weight Watchers diet was that I could find a way to still snack without resorting to the bad stuff. You can do it on diets like the paleo, keto, Atkins, Slimming World and so many more. Here are my tips for curbing late night snacking so you can lose weight and keep it off. Recognize you’re doing it: This has to be the first step. If you don’t realize that you’re snacking, then you’re going to struggle to curb it in the first place. 100 Day Challenge Day 26: Slightly Over But Still In Control

Image
I went a little over my daily pro points allowance yesterday in the 100 Day Challenge. That didn’t matter because I have my weekly pro points, and I actually made the decision to go over a little. I was enjoying the muffins that I made on Sunday. Sometimes we will make the choice to eat a little more, and there is nothing wrong with doing that on Weight Watchers. By Friday, I’d think I still have 25 weekly pro points left and it would lead to a weight gain on Saturday—possibly the week after if my body decided to delay it a little. So, this is why I always say that tracking is important. On...

The Remote Control Buttons That Help Me With Weight Loss

Image
This week at Weight Watchers has all been about staying in control when we socialize. It’s not the easiest thing to do, but I’ve been using a remote control as a way to offer tips to help with weight loss. Remotes tend to have the same buttons. There are certain ones that help with weight loss more than others. These are the ones that help me. Image: Pixabay The Rewind Button This is so important for weight loss, whatever plan you follow. It’s worth rewinding and looking back over your journey. The next time a social event comes up, think back at how you handled them in the past. Did you lose weight and how did you do it? If not, what did you do that you could do differently this time? I regularly use the rewind button. It’s what I love about tracking, especially through my Weight Watchers app. There’s the chance to look back over years of tracking. The Fast Forward Button Fast forward to think about where you want to be in the future. What do you w...
